EFTA-Ecuador Free Trade Agreement

On November 1, 2020, the Free Trade Agreement between the states of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA), including Switzerland, and the Republic of Ecuador (Ecuador) entered into force. The Agreement covers trade in agricultural and industrial products, rules of origin, trade facilitation and many other areas (e.g.: phasing out of import duties in Ecuador).
